Facts:

  • He teamed up with a Roman ruler, Octavian, in the Second Triumvirate.
  • Together he, Octavian, and another rich powerful man, Lepidus, they defeated Julius Ceaser's enemies.
  • Then, in 33Bce the Second Triumvirate ended and Antony and Octavian soon became enemies.
  • In Antony's war against Octavian, Antony was defeated and he and Cleopatra, his wife, committed suicide together.
